• Always communicate with your animals. Let them know where you are going, how long the trip will la

Summer is vacation season and with that comes the question of traveling with or without your furry family members. See previous post Vacationing Without Pets for ways to care for and reassure your animals in your absence.
• Assess your pet's ability to travel comfortably. Are you traveling with your animal for you or for them? Would your pet be happier tagging along wherever you go despite the challenges that may arise with travel or would s/he be better off at home with a caretaker or at a pet care camp?
• Arrange a pre-travel veterinary checkup travel and tourism to make sure your friend is fit to handle all of the excitement that comes with a family vacation. If you are flying or driving a long distance, your vet may recommend some oral sedatives to reduce anxiety or distress. I prefer to work with flower essences as they are a more natural way to accomplish this however travel and tourism I would have something stronger available too. You may also want to inquire about any parasites or diseases that are prevalent at your destination and best possible methods of protection for your animal. Also ask for a referral to a vet in the area. In case of any emergencies, you won't have to waste time trying to locate a practitioner.
• Make sure you pack more than enough food for your pet. Your brand may not be available at your final destination and the last thing you want to do while traveling is incorporate a diet change. This also includes regular supplements and medication. Try to feed your animal a few hours before the actual travel travel and tourism begins to reduce travel and tourism motion sickness.
• Also bring extra water from home. Some animals, especially horses and cats, may turn their nose up to water that doesn't smell like home. Good hydration is crucial during new or stressful events, especially when temperatures are on the rise.
• For air travel you will need a sturdy carrier. Practice loading your pet in this carrier and test it out for strength and comfort before your vacation. You may also want to air it to clear any toxic chemical off gassing. Remember animals' sense of smell is nearly 40,000 times stronger than ours plus they will be breathing the material up close without much ventilation.
• Never leave your pets in vehicles unattended travel and tourism this time of year. Even with windows travel and tourism open a few inches and sun shields travel and tourism up, the temperature rises quickly and there is no air movement. Try sitting in a parked car this way for 10 minutes travel and tourism and notice how you feel!
• Be extra aware of your pet's emotional cues and body language. Behaviors may be slightly different as the increased stimuli associated with travel and foreign destinations could place your animal in a state of red alert.
• Always communicate with your animals. Let them know where you are going, how long the trip will last, who you will be visiting and the types of activities you plan to do. You can send them this information in the form of a mental movie. Create travel and tourism a visual scene of the experience and imagine sending it to them as if you were sending an email.
travel and tourism I am a Professional Pet Psychic with 12 years of experience helping people to deepen the love, trust and understanding travel and tourism they share with their animal friends. My "street cred" includes being a regularly featured guest on several radio and tv shows including Sonoma County's own KZST-FM. My "real cred" is serving as a voice for animals.  Pets tell me their likes and dislikes, offer insight behind behavior and alert me to pain or discomfort.
My favorite cases involve reconnecting people with their pets that have passed away.  I call them the "ah-ha" and "wow" sessions and they are the most fulfilling part of my work. They include specific messages validating how the animals continue to love, guide and heal from beyond.
This blog will cover a wide variety of topics accentuating holistic harmony for animals and their families. travel and tourism Some posts will be actual excerpts from readings, messages the animals have for humanity, and others will include tips from my animal communication and energy healing classes or current topics in the pet industry.
