After already hitting New England sydney harbour hotels earlier in their famous Zoo TV Tour, U2 returned for three concerts in four nights at Foxboro Stadium. The shows, like every one on the tour, exemplified the drastic departure in the band s sound between their newest album Achtung Baby and their previous work.

Each concert on the Zoo TV tour would have DJs spinning records between sets, with the main set from U2 containing most of Achtung Baby performed consecutively to really drive home the band s new sound. No video specifically from the Foxboro show is available online, but here s a clip of One and Unchained Melody played live in Sydney, Australia in 1993 to give you an idea of the epic scale of the concerts.
