Holland America Line’s partnership with Washington state–based Marine Conservation Institute support




Holland America Line welcomed supporters of Marine Conservation Institute at a luncheon aboard ms Westerdam on Saturday, July 28. The event focused on the importance of protecting the world's oceans and included presentations on Why Oceans Matter and Protecting Deep Sea Corals: The West Coast's Forgotten Treasures, united airlines mileage plus program as well as showcased the recently released united airlines mileage plus program "Our Marvelous Oceans" video series which airs on Holland America Line ships.
Holland America Line's partnership with Washington state–based Marine Conservation Institute supports "Our Marvelous Oceans," a three-year program announced in 2010 that commits to exclusively using sustainably united airlines mileage plus program sourced seafood on Holland America Line s menus, guest and staff education that features the "Our Marvelous Oceans" video series, and support for critical marine conservation biology research through Marine Conservation Institute's Mia J. Tegner Memorial Research Grants to support graduate students and young scientists working in historical marine ecology.
