We have 47k on ours and the wife drives and she loves it. I do the driving on trips in it and I love it. It pulled my 21 ft. Century back fourth to Florida a few times and I know I drive too fast but 80 was good for it. Without the boat it averages 20 mpg overall luxury car rental edinburgh if you keep your foot out of it and 23 on the highway. It's a smoother ride that the Navigator we had previously or the Escalade and a hell of a lot better on fuel. We normally trade in by now but the wife says she doesn't want to get rid of this one she likes it that much. She's the one at the beginning luxury car rental edinburgh that didn't luxury car rental edinburgh like it because of the looks and now you can't pry it away from her.
If you live close to your airport luxury car rental edinburgh you may want to cruise by the car rental lot and see if there are any to be rented. It seems that Ford has been seeding rental agencies with top of the line models. I did an extended test drive of a $40,000 Edge this way, (didn't end up buying one although it was very nice) and just the other day ended up renting a loaded focus or something like that from avis. I don't recall seeing any Edges but it is worth a shot.
One other funny note is my wife is short and wants moveable pedals, honda odyssey did away with them, as most have. So we were down to the chrysler town and country and the ford flex that still offer that feature. The flex is much more fun to drive, then the T C also have heard some negatives about the Chrysler T C.
I rented one for a few days. I really liked the utility of the vehicle. I also liked its ride and quietness. If I was not a Chevy dealer I would look very hard at the Flex as something that can haul and get good fuel economy. I also drove an Edge and thought that was a fine product also. I thought the Edge was more versatile than the Flex.
I am not generally a fan of American cars and it is not what you would call a good-looking car but, I really like the looks of them. We plan on looking at new cars early next year and the Flex is one I want my wife to look at.
I considered it when our 98 GMC Safari AWD (tow and winter vehicle) died. Thought to sell the Magnum R/T, buy a Flex AWD to replace both. Wound up with an 03 Astro AWD and still have the Magnum (very fun to drive).
Anyone have one, also what does everyone else think about it? If it is what she wants, she can have it but wanted to get some feedback. If it works out you may be the first person to switch from a Honda to a ford for reliability.
Also the american suvs - Ford, GMC, even Dodge have stepped their game up with the options and features, they are blowing the honda's and toyotas away. Like I said before - it must be the new Odyssey model or you just had a lemon. My 02 turned 170k today everything works/runs like a champ. Our 10' Pilot has 60k on it, no issues at all, every option execpt Navi nothing is broken. The Honda 6 cylinder is a strong engine, our company 06' Odyssey has 260k on the odo, runs/looks like a brand new car.
I have the 2010 model, luxury car rental edinburgh and I agree like I said all of the manufactorers have problems, but my wife really wanted the movable pedals and honda does not offer them anymore. also I have to tell you honda has fallen behind toyota in the interior, did you know they did away with the touch screen nav, now you have to use the knob joystick, how are you going to manage that while driving?
