California Community lion king broadway show tickets Colleges Centers for International Trade Development at Riverside Community College District is among partners that received a $1.62 million State Trade and Export Promotion, or STEP, grant Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The Centers for International Trade Development on several community college campuses will coordinate more training and technical assistance for small businesses that have products that can be exported.
The U.S. Small Business Administration expects to report a 10-to-1 return on investment of federal grant. Of the $1.62 million in STEP grants made to California community colleges in 2012, the agencies plan to assist at least 100 small businesses to begin exporting products and to track $26 million in new international sales.
