This deal is being offered in Vermont at the new 10,000-square-feet spa at The Woodstock Inn Resort

Girlfriend getaways are all the rage these days, and it would be illegal if there weren t some spa treatments involved. So when I heard about a deal that offered almost a thousand dollars worth of pampering allegedly for free, I had to check it out.
This deal is being offered in Vermont at the new 10,000-square-feet spa at The Woodstock Inn Resort as part of its "Pampered Great Spa Escape. It offers a two-night delta airline reservations stay and $888 in spa credit, all for $888. Basically, guests need to pay for the room and get the spa treatments for free.
In other words, two best friends can share a room, split the room charge of $888 plus 9 percent tax for both nights and get the equivalent amount of money toward spa treatments. The only rub is that a 20 percent tip is factored in.
There are no meals included in this spa package, but there are others where a buffet breakfast is included. There are a couple of restaurants on the premises for lunch and dinner, such as the new Red Rooster, while the town of Woodstock is just steps away.
One of the perks of staying at Woodstock Inn, is the fact that it owns the nearby Suicide Six ski hill, which offers free skiing to kids seven days a week, except for holidays. Adults can shush down the runs for free on Monday through Friday.
Back at the inn, one might be surprised to learn that the bill includes a $4 nightly charge for maid service, but don t lose sleep over it. The charge is reversible if it s brought up with the front desk.
