Superdome garages will open at 2 pm. General parking is available in Garage 1-A and Champions Garage. Saints fans should plan for enhanced security at the Superdome this season. This season, in accordance with enhanced security continental airlines arena screening mandated by the NFL, security personnel will scan patrons with hand-held metal-detecting wands at ALL entrance gates. Pat downs will no longer be performed. All other security measures will remain in place. Because of the changes, fans should arrive EARLY and allow for extra time to enter the stadium. Streetcar Construction Additionally, because of streetcar construction at the corner of Poydras continental airlines arena Street and Loyola Ave., patrons expecting to cross this intersection before or after the game may experience traffic delays.
