So here is a little blog about my trips including nevada luxury sport car rentals Disney Cruise, Disneyland, Disney World, some independent and even some smaller getaways. I might even include something interesting I stumble upon or something else that catches my attention. I live 5.18 miles from Disneyland (yes I mapped it) so I will include some things that are close to Disneyland also.
With my god children coming to visit for the summer I wanted to take them someplace nevada luxury sport car rentals special while they were out here. For a couple of years now we had talked about San Francisco since its just up north from where I live. We first looked into taking the train from Southern California but that would have involved busing from Los Angeles Union station to Bakersfield and in fact the cost was more than a flight. So after taking in the price and time it would take to make the trip on the train I decided that flying was the way to go. I was able to find some nice cheap flights from Long Beach Airport nevada luxury sport car rentals to San Francisco Airport for July 2012 on Jet Blue. With the transportation taken care of that only left the hotel to book. I had my godson do some searching on the internet with me and we found a good price for a hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf area at the Radisson Hotel. I went on Expedia and was able to book them both together and save a bit of cash that we could use while on our trip.
The afternoon before we left I was able to go online and print out our boarding passes. We would be flying out of Long Beach Airport which is one of my favorite airports. The airport is easily accessible from my house and is small which makes it a breeze to get through security. Long Beach Airport is only a 14 mile drive straight down Ball Road (which is one of the cross streets for Disneyland) from the Disneyland Resort. Ball Road will change names to Wardlow Road when you cross the Los Angeles County line. I mean this literally when I say if you drive down Ball Road you will actually run into the Long Beach Airport. Ball Road/Wardlow Road actually dead ends right into the airport! I love driving to this airport because it does not involve a freeway! It is wonderful nevada luxury sport car rentals to avoid the traffic that is normally involved when going to John Wayne (Orange County Airport - SNA) or LAX.
So finally its Saturday and our day of departure. Our flight did not leave until 2:40pm so we were all able to sleep in which is a good thing because we all three love our sleep. Once we were up we had plenty of time to pack and even have some lunch before we needed nevada luxury sport car rentals to leave for the airport. Since we would only be gone for 4 days we packed so we could just carry on our luggage. We were being dropped off at the airport by my mom so we would not have to pay for any parking. Since the drive is only about 20 minutes on the side streets to the airport she was more than willing to take us.
We arrived at the airport about 1 1/2 before our flight was schedule to depart and since we already had our boarding passes and didn't need to check luggage we headed straight for the security line. The security line took about 15 minutes to get through the ID check then through the x-ray and medal detector. It was here that I decided to take a few pictures. The first is right after we passed security and it is looking back at the security check point.
We found a seat and now it was just time to wait. This airport is doing some construction to upgrade the terminal area. Right now the terminals are small and reminds me of those temporary bungalows. This next picture shows just how small the terminal area is. Here there are 5 gates and this is pretty much all the waiting area. Don't get me wrong, its plenty big enough for the people waiting for the flights but it just goes to show you how small this airport really is.
A little snack shop and bar are located in a separate bungalow for now just outside of the terminal. You do not leave the security area so you can freely walk before this building and the restrooms which are also located their own small building just outside of the terminal.
Our plane was pretty nevada luxury sport car rentals much on time so when our boarding group was called we were out the door in no time. I say out the door because you board the plane outside. There are ramps that take you up to the plane door where you get on. I kind of like it because its something different.
There was a bit of traffic and we got caught in the traffic for the Giants game but we were excited to be on our trip so it didn't bother us. We arrived at the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf, paid our driver and entered the hotel to check in. Check in was pretty painless, they wanted to verify your credit card, see photo id then gave all 3 of us our room keys. We headed up to the third floor and made it to our room.
We went swimming once and the water was heated nevada luxury sport car rentals which is a great thing because even in July the nights were so very cold. The have pool towels available but with the cool air I enjoyed them more for bundling up than for drying off.
Just past the pool is a walk way that takes you straight from the Radisson out to Fisherman's Wharf area. There is also a Johnny Rockets right next door that actually has tables in the Radisson nevada luxury sport car rentals pool area. You can just sit out side of the pool fence and have your food at Johnny Rockets or they will let you order to go.
There was about a 15 minute wait until we were seated. Since it was nice and cold outside we opted for an inside table. nevada luxury sport car rentals They have a bar area with televisions and then some tables that also over look the bay area. We were about in the middle between nevada luxury sport car rentals the bar and the windows but we were right under this little nevada luxury sport car rentals guy!
There are samples of everything available either to taste or to smell. We ended up buying some loose teas to take back to the hotel to have. Since we didn't have a filter nevada luxury sport car rentals they were so kind to give us a few disposable filters nevada luxury sport car rentals so we could heat our water and steep our tea in the hotel room.
As you can see from the video it is pretty interesting how they can create these different paintings with spray paint. The last picture of Jack Skellington with the Golden Gate Bridge is pretty neat.
