The second tour is a guided one, with options. It is sort of a WWII tour because we visit Auschwitz,

Inspired by the creative, witty and Pulitzer Prize-winning quality of cousin Jocelyn Airey's blog, Wayne and I decided to make our own blog. Unfortunately, our blog will resemble Jocelyn's washington dc student tours in no way whatsoever!
Wayne and I wanted to create this blog for two reasons: firstly, so you, our family and friends could travel vicariously with us on our journey; secondly, so Wayne and I would have a future reference to remember what we saw and did on this trip. We already have copious files of digital photos that neither of us can identify. Must be the Alzheimer's or maybe pictures of someone else's trips. Hmmm.
Wayne and I will be taking two 'back-to-back' tours in Europe this Fall. The first tour is a self-guided one, meaning that our hotels are booked for us and some of our transportation is included, but it is up to us to decide what we want to see. We chose this tour because washington dc student tours our second tour did not include all the places we wanted to see. Wayne wants to go to the tiny hamlet of Wolsfeld. Go figure. We will, in all likelihood, visit Belgium and Luxembourg due to their proximity to Wayne's washington dc student tours namesake, or so he thinks. Nuremberg is a must-see for me. Hopefully, we won't get lost. It won't be the first time, but that is another story.
The second tour is a guided one, with options. It is sort of a WWII tour because we visit Auschwitz, the Warsaw Ghetto, Potsdam, etc., but we will also listen to the beautiful music of Bach and Liszt.
We will waltz in Vienna and float down the rivers Rhine and Danube. We will drive the beautiful Romantic Road and because it is the wine season, we will force ourselves to drink wine, so as not to offend our hosts. Wayne will likely drink a wee, small beer in Munich, just to be sociable. When we begin our second tour, I will provide you with a map of our journey.
Wayne and I are still struggling with wardrobe malfunctions from last year's Italian trip. It seems that too much pasta, gelato, tiramisu and limoncello shrink clothing. We are sincerely hoping that Polish sausage. German pretzels, washington dc student tours Hungarian perogies, and Black Forest Cake are slimming. washington dc student tours We did pack "Fatter" pants to wear, but I am concerned that they too, may shrink.
washington dc student tours Hey you two! While you re in the west of Germany you should drop in on Juliane s home town of Aachen. It s the home of Charlemagne ... He built the Dom and Rathaus! Has a great spa! It s right on the borders washington dc student tours of Belgium and Holland. Great town with a lot of history. Reply Delete Add comment Load more...
