A handful of flights got out Monday morning before the storm worsened. The last flight departed Monday from Reagan National Airport for Atlanta Monday at about 9:00 a.m. The last flight out of Dulles International Airport departed at 1:15 p.m. for Tokyo.
A spokesman at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport said that flights in and out of the airport had ceased by 9 a.m. Monday, and that widespread cancellations are also expected Tuesday.
