"When will Samsung, LG and HTC realize that small screen doesn't need to mean mid-range?" asks an ex

Reactions to the S3 Mini have been largely disappointed that the new phone isn't a smaller version of the S3 , as the name suggests. "What a wasted opportunity," says CNET reader Stuart Perchard of the 480x800-pixel screen, 5-megapixel camera cocoa beach fl hotels and 1GHz processor. "Wow. Cashing in on the trusted cocoa beach fl hotels high performance mark of their flagship with a low end phone," says an underwhelmed Jamie Wallis. "I reckon cocoa beach fl hotels some consumers are gonna be disappointed."
"When will Samsung, LG and HTC realize that small screen doesn't need to mean mid-range?" asks an exasperated Colm O'hÉalaithe. "Most people would have been hoping for the same GS3/OneX/Optimus/Nexus specs in a decent size screen, but instead they give us the equivalent to an iPhone 3GS in 2012! What are they thinking? And people wonder why these phones don't sell!"
Disappointing phone. What most people expected was a higher end phone in the 4 to 4.3 inch range to take on the iPhone 5, Sony Xperia S, HTC One S and some other phones. However, the Galaxy S2, despite being a year old is still a great phone, its available for under 20 with unlimited data. Not everyone wants a huge phone.
I ve just Ebayed my two month old Galaxy S3 and bought a second hand S2. If the S3 Mini had looked any good I might have waited acouple of weeks, but I m not impressed. The original S3 is a lovely whizzy phone but too fragile, and doesn t have a wrist-strap fitting (like the S2). I broke the S3 screen by dropping it 6 inches onto a laminated floor - not even concrete cocoa beach fl hotels or anything. Luckily I was insured, and as soon as the replacement came I sold it. My new S2 came rooted and with AOKP Jelly Bean installed (and with a wrist-strap).
THAT LAST COMMENT IS EXACTLY SPOT ON AND WELL SAID, AND HARDWARE cocoa beach fl hotels MANUFACTURERS WONDER? EPIC FAIL, YOU WOULD THINK THEY HAVE LEARNT THEIR LESSON BY NOW TO STOP FLOGGING OFF PAST TIME CRAP. THE GENERAL PUBLIC AREN T IDIOTS ANYMORE, ITS A NEW AGE OF TECH HEADS EMERGING AND HARDWARE MANUFACTURERS NEED TO CONSTANTLY BE ON TOP OF IT.
I think that Samsung is just taking advantage of the hype that surrounds popularity of SGS3 and trying to milk it for a few extra quid by slapping cocoa beach fl hotels the same name on device that has nothing to do with the original.
Anyhoo this sawn off S3 (nice one Rich) is pointless, a basic phone aimed at mainly newcomers to the android community and trying to lure them in with the latest OS and the name. As been said already better off with an SII or if that s too rich but you want a Sammy just take the Ace and be done with it.
250 for that is a great price, if I hadn t had such a bad experience with the Samsung Galaxy S I d be very tempted. As it is though I d rather get a Galaxy Nexus, or wait to see if a mid-range Nexus phone is released.
I see nothing wrong with this handset. It s a mini version, therefore the specs will be mini in comparison. I personally think that it will be a great little contender. Sure it might have only 1Ghz dual core, but that can deliver cocoa beach fl hotels some proper oomph if the handset isn t filled with bloatware.
Really disappointed with yet another release. The HTC Desire was an amazing phone and ever since we ve been expecting an upgrade to a handset cocoa beach fl hotels that is a phone and not a mini 4.x inch mini tablet. As other users agree we want a good specked phone in a decent size. Something cocoa beach fl hotels like a HTC One S or S2 spec in a 4inch phone. It s as if these manufacturers are pushing everyone who does not want a mini tablet to buy an iPhone...
Expect Samsung to announce the S3 Mini Plus or S3 Mini Advance cocoa beach fl hotels in less than 6 months which will be the higher cocoa beach fl hotels spec version we all want. Sadly this is now the way of tech companies these days. Don t give the consumer everything at once when you can sell more phones drip feeding features. Works for Apple.
