I've got an '01 Prowler. I know the history on it dating back to June of '04. Well, Its already broadway plaza hotel had a water heater leak which required the entire rear to be rebuilt, Then roof leaked so it needed replaced. Then on a trip had a box with alomst no weight in it in the shower, come back to find out it cracked the very thin plastic which I had to epoxy back to save $200+ on a new one. Fast fordward to this week. Now there is a 6X6" hole in the kitchen floor where the pressboard has crumbled with no signs of water nearby, bathroom drain pipe busted where it meets the vent pipe leading to a surprise while im in the shower when my wife screamed water is coming out everywhere under the trailer and yesterday I washed it. Woke this morning to a bedroom carpet floor half soaked and my beagles bed drenched and smelling of mold including the whole trailer. All this lead me to ripping the bedroom apart and pulling all the flooring up. Got to the pressboard and only 2 places show damage. Right along the walls and under it. On the passenger side, only one place show wood damage however is still mostly solid with some crumbles and on drivers, 24" stretch but isnt to bad. Then add to outside under the kitchen wheelwell, It isnt sealed good at all. Lets not forget that the black water tank will spill out all over the ground if it gets to full capactity. Havent tried grey yet. Black was a pure mistake.....But broadway plaza hotel its very clean now. I hate flushing that tank....
How do I tackle the floor issues? Or any of these for that matter? This is my first TT and have almost no idea what I'm doing when it comes to repairing these things becauwe of how they're built. Like how the walls sit on the floor.

Repairs of the nature required can be extremely time consuming. You can find plenty of information about making broadway plaza hotel repairs on the internet. Basic carpentry broadway plaza hotel skills are required and I always use plywood, broadway plaza hotel not particle board in making repairs. To correctly repair window seals, they are pulled and resealed with tacky tape first, not simply caulked on the outside.

My thing is pulling walls. Where can I find the tape to match the current wall design? broadway plaza hotel I do know about the plywood. 3/4" thick minimum. As for the sensors, The wiring on them is a joke. Over sized crimps used, flimsy wires used, On the outside theyre rusted. Wires hanging everywhere. With the windows, Besides tacky tape, What else can I use to seal them and everything broadway plaza hotel else external? broadway plaza hotel Thanks Steve.

I say leave the sensors because you have enough on your plate. You can tell if your black water tank is fully simply by looking down the commode and when your shower doesn't drain, it is time to empty the gray water tank. Do the hard stuff first. The sensors will seem like a vacation.
For the windows, I pull them, put the tacky tape on the sidewall, and seat the windows back in place and reattach the beauty ring inside. Then I use Dicor caulking around broadway plaza hotel the top and both sides. I use Dicor caulk and materials exclusively for anything broadway plaza hotel I have to seal on the exterior.
The problem with a complete rebuild is, unless you have unlimited time and a fairly good skill set, you are almost always better off to cut your losses and run. So often I see folks completely strip out the inside of a camper with the intention of rebuilding it and along the line they run out of gas. Then there are the folks who do a poor job and end up with something having no more value than when they started out.
I feel sorry for first time buyers as they are often taken advantage of and I think that is part of the reason so few first timers keep their initial purchase. It is not easy to walk away from a mistake, but at times it is a whole cheaper than throwing money at it. Decades ago the first motor home I bought was a disaster and I spent a whole camping season rebuilding it and in the end still had nothing. The learning curve with RVs is steep, but it is not very high. By that I mean there is a ton to learn at first, but the learning is readily doable.
This one has the potential but alot of the problems are re-occuring from when it was first purchased and was taken to a shop for repairs. Their repairs were not quality so the same problems are coming back. Hell, I just had to knock the lock out of the door because it froze up. Now I have to find a new handle and lock assembly for it. Its almost 4AM here. When I started almost kicking that lock out, Even the neighbors looked to see what was going on... Priced anouther shop here to do the repairs, $105 PER HOUR. Its no wonder these things are neglected or people do their own repairs on them.
Back to the windows, On closer inspection, It looks as though all the weatherproofing will need to be replaced. I did get the windows done but at $11 per tube for the "special" caulking, I did'nt use it. Not for it to need re-inspected twice a year or fail early when I can get 30 year normal caulking and it does last. And even then, Looking at the rest of the trailer, They didn't even use caulking.
