A lovely house tucked away in the woods with a beautiful waterfront view behind the house. If you're looking to get away, this is your spot. Laurie and David were lovely hosts, we were even welcomed with a basket full of local goodies. Everything was clean, organized, and easy to locate. There is also a wonderful garden sports ticket agencies in the front. sports ticket agencies A colorful sports ticket agencies display of flowers, fresh herbs, sports ticket agencies and eclectic yard decor. This place is great inside and out. We will be visiting again!
From the moment that I saw this property sports ticket agencies on the internet, I knew I had to visit it. The reviews were great and the pictures spoke a thousand words. We were most definitely not dissapointed. I love nature and it's stillness and we were surrounded by trees, flowers and the most gorgeous sports ticket agencies view...truly amazing. I woke up one morning to two deer right in the gardens.
The owners were so friendly and hospitable...they could not do enough to make our stay a wonderful and pleasant experience. The most noticeable thing to us was the feeling of being home...we felt like it was our home...how incredible is that! The attention to detail made us feel we were "home". The property has spectacular views from almost every room and the master bedroom is awesome....waking up in the morning and seeing the sunrise was truly beautiful. It felt like we were living inside a postcard. We walked down to the ocean and it was so quiet and pristine....truly a place of peace.
We went to Mount Desert Island on a daily basis and felt it was a short drive. If you like peace and quiet and being away from the crowd, you will love this property. It was great to spend the day sightseeing, shopping, etc. and coming home early enough to enjoy this beautiful place.
We just spent a week with our 16 year old in this home, and the reviews were totally sports ticket agencies accurate. We loved that our teen had the same views as we did, but in a room with a door given that the second floor of this home is an amazing Master loft suite, with views of the bay from the shower...
We biked all the roads in the neighborhood, swam in the local clear water, pristine pond. We went over to the Schoonic Peninsula, and to the quiet side of Mt Desert , to Pretty Marsh for warmer ocean water than anywhere else we found. Finally, we did an overnight in Bar Harbor and biked and climbed a bit on Mt Desert, went out to dinner. We recommend sports ticket agencies a week in this house to just sit still and take it in. The setting is so peaceful sports ticket agencies and the fireflies each night were mesmerizing so be sure not to get so tired you can't stay up long enough to see them.
Our family, including 4 children from toddler to teen, fell in love with this beautiful, immaculate home and property sports ticket agencies in June. The attention to detail in the structure of the home, the gorgeous gardens, breathtaking view and amazing hospitality of the owners made it difficult sports ticket agencies for us to leave on the final day of our vacation. We vowed to return and are now planning on it this year. The entrance to Acadia Park is not far away. If you want to sight see and then, retreat to a quiet spot - this is the place for you. The owners truly brought nature inside. The decor and even the granite kitchen counter tops made us feel like we were surrounded by God's artistry. This is our favorite vacation rental property.
On August 6, 2010 2 couples with 2 Harley's in tow arrived at this destination on Frenchmen's Bay in search of a much needed vacation from life's stress and that's just what we encountered. We love the outdoors, water, water sports and hate the frenzie of tourists and big cities so 68 Pasture Way was an amazing gift for us from which to launch exploration into those areas but return to a sanctuary that elicited a sense of comfort, good taste and serenity. Laurie and David were the perfect hosts in abstentia. Available as needed but totally unintrussive. This proerty is lanscaped to compliment the natural surrounding with spectacular views, was very clean, totally stocked and accomodating in every way. It epitomizes the mantra of Maine. It was truly the way life should be! We'd encourage anyone to choose this property and we will definately return.
sports ticket agencies My husband, mom, dad, and I just returned from this wonderful "home away from home". When I first walked in, I couldn't stop saying "Oh My Goodness!". Thanks to Laurie and David for sharing this great vacation home. Besides the home being beautiful, sports ticket agencies comfy, and immaculate, the view was out of this world. We awoke every morning to a beautiful sunrise and then enjoyed the sunsets in the evening. I really just can not say enough about our stay except that is was truly wonderful.
We just returned from our week long vacation and we couldn't be happier. We rented the home as a birthday gift for my brother (who turned 50) and his wife. Given that the home had three queen size beds we also invited our parents along for the week. The six of us raved all week about how amazing sports ticket agencies this home is. The view is perfect and changes throughout the day. David and Laurie surprised us with a large basket of goodies and you really only need to bring you cloths & toothbrush as they have thought of everything. We picked apples from a tree down by the water and made the best apple crumb pie. We also frequently saw deer in the backyard. The master suite upstairs was perfect with an oversize jetted tub and two shower heads in the stand alone shower. We never wanted to leave the house. You will not be disappointed with this property. Thank you David and Laurie for a fantastic vacation.
We've stayed in a lot of rental homes and this one ranks near or at the top. Delightful and comfortable decor; nice kitchen with everything you need to cook; nice grill to cook out; beautiful view of the bay; close to both Mount Desert Island and Ellsworth . We loved spending time on the deck watching the stars come out at night. No complaints here! Five star rating.
