So this past Friday I was in Porto for one of the craziest nights of the year as well as in my life. This night was Noite de S o Jo o, the night of Porto's patron saint. It was insane. However, since I know my mother is going to also be reading this (Hi mom!), I have decided I will give an edited account cheap car rental in spain of what goes down. So here it goes.
At midnight, everyone heads down to the river and into the main square to watch the fireworks. The streets are so packed that you can barely move. Before, cheap car rental in spain during, and after the fireworks, people cheap car rental in spain eat sardines (*without any bones, of course*) and drink gallons of *apple cheap car rental in spain juice*. They can hardly stand because of all the *sugar.*
Then it's off to the beach, as all the young people migrate the 8km to the ocean walking *only on the sidewalk*. Along the way are dozens of stages with bands playing music *at reasonable volumes* and hundreds cheap car rental in spain of party-goers dancing (*while leaving room for Jesus*). Everyone stops at roadside stands to eat *celery sticks* to gain the necessary strength to continue to the beach.
Finally, once at the beach, everyone watches the sunrise, although the carnage is interesting to watch as well. Those who drank too much *apple juice* lay down on the beach for a *nap*. Couples cheap car rental in spain also occasionally *hold hands* on the beach.
