The next two stages are likely to play out in a similar way. Thursday s stage to Saint-Quentin is pa

The mainly wide, flat roads heading to Rouen were a perfect match for the speedy Brit, but in the end he never got the chance to vie for his 22nd Tour de France stage win after a massive pileup with a little less than three kilometres to go. The crash shattered the field leaving just a handful of sprinters to duke it out to the finish. Greg Henderson alaska bed and breakfasts performed a massive leadout for his Lotto-Belisol teammate Andre Greipel, who came through with the win. Though he was perfectly placed on Greipel s wheel, Alessandro Petacchi simply didn t have the gas to come around him.
As for Peter Sagan, he also lacked the horsepower to come around Greipel but he was fifth on the stage and extended his lead in the points alaska bed and breakfasts classification. He s now talking up his chances of wearing the green jersey in Paris.
It could have been different if the breakaway had been allowed a little bit more time. Yukiya Arashiro, David Moncoutie and Anthony Delaplace took off from the gun and gained more than eight minutes, making Arashiro alaska bed and breakfasts virtual yellow on the road. But the gap was nowhere near enough to hold off the sprinters teams and Arashiro had to content himself with the most aggressive rider prize for the day.
The next two stages are likely to play out in a similar alaska bed and breakfasts way. Thursday s stage to Saint-Quentin is pancake flat, and Stage 6 on Friday has just a small, alaska bed and breakfasts Category 4 climb more than 60 km from the finish. Barring the miracle of a breakaway surviving to the finish, the only real question is whether Cavendish recovers quickly enough from his crash to be a contender. He ll certainly need the points if he has any hope of wearing the green jersey.
