Petersburg, VA – The eGolf Professional Tour's Greater Richmond Open was shortened to 18 holes after tournament officials declared at 12:27 PM on Friday that completion of the second round at Country Club of Petersburg was not possible due to course conditions after severe storms re-entered the area.
With the split course 54-hole event, the tour's policy when only 18 holes can be completed is to split the $220,000 purse into two $110,000 purses, with 18-hole results from both Petersburg and Royal New Kent Golf Club being final. Tournament earnings will be official, but a tournament champion will not be declared.
